It’s like a nightmare . . . the left has really come up with a unique way to make what is obviously unconstitutional — constitutional to make all semi-autos unlawful.
How???
Change the Florida Constitution.
Think it can’t happen??? Then you haven’t watched the news or media for the last two years.
They will try to get the required votes to put it on the ballot — and will likely succeed because they will be backed by tens of millions in contributions from every anti-gun source within and outside, not just Florida, but the entire nation! Watch! They will lie, distort, organize, purchase sham proponents, stage rallies, put on fake sob stories, and try to scare, shame, and lie to Florida citizens — and then double or triple that if it gets on the ballot!
We either organize now — I suggest thru a dedicated committee headed by Florida Carry and joined in with the NRA, GOA, and the Second Amendment Foundation (as a start) all working at the same table so we can decide how to attack it and present our side in a unified manner and message, gather the millions we will need to counter it, (again, it must be a dedicated fund used for nothing else), and also be ready to fight it in the federal courts if it somehow passes as being contrary to the Second Amendment. (a rather long and costly fight, and necessary to stop any enforcement until the case is finally decided).
We either stand together and all understand the seriousness — or fall by the wayside of history.
